Testimonials
"June 23, 2008 was my first day at Quest. I was 50 years old. At that time I could not walk a mile. I could not balance on one foot, much less kick. My self-confidence was low, as was my spirit.
Now, after three years at Quest, I am in the best shape of my life. I have a raise and a promotion. My spirit soars."

"I came to Quest Martial Arts last night full of life's worries and stresses, slightly downbeat, and left just over an hour later invigorated and enthusiastic about the challenges for the future, both inside and outside the Dojo".

"My son Started classes in 2009 and struggled with attention, focus, and concentration. He required dozens of prompts before completing requested tasks like brushing his teeth, homework, chores, etc. Within 2 months of starting classes at Quest, Justin began completing tasks after the first prompt. His teachers at school we concerned with his ability to focus, he is now a star student. Thank you Quest for everything you have done to improve Justin's quality of life."

"The martial arts education and cardio workouts at Quest are excellent, but I believe they are secondary in value to the self-esteem and confidence building that is incorporated into every aspect of Quest. Quest's philosophy is remarkably genuine, generous, healthy, and wholesome, for adults and children both. The skills students learn at Quest will serve them will throughout their lives"

"Quest has been a fantastic part of my son's life. Since he started with Quest last year, his grades have improved tremendously. He takes great pride that he is part of the Quest Martial Arts Family. He demonstrates great discipline and is working on his leadership skills. I recommend Quest to every family. The staff is professional, personable, and above all dedicated to the students."
Grace C., retired U.S. Army
"Thank you so much for this past year of training and conditioning (our first) for our son. There’s no doubt that your organization is committed to personal development in both the physical and mental aspect of Martial Arts.
Admittedly I was hesitant to explore this discipline, thinking this would only encourage my son to learn how to fight… I now know the goal is far from it.
We were so impressed with Quest that we enrolled our daughter in May ’08, and immediately noticed an improvement in her self-awareness, self-confidence, and a new found skill: “rolling with the punches.”
Since there’s so many staff members it would be unfair to name the few that I know- my compliments to all of them, for their professionalism, their enthusiasm, and the ability to remember everyone’s name!
Quest has clearly proven to be a worthwhile endeavor – we look forward to continued growth and the rewards earned with it.
A belated Happy New Year and Thanks!"

While working in an office setting over the last several years I attended a number of leadership seminars and participated in an office leadership training program as a member of middle management. Nothing I encountered proved to be nearly as valuable to my career and personal life as the leadership training I received while on the Leadership Team at Quest Martial Arts.”

"My son has a confidence problem and it affects his social life at school and when playing with his peers. We looked for a martial art school that is sensitive to our child’s feelings, and at the same time teach him discipline and confidence. We could not find a better place than Quest. This school is all about the POSITIVES, they motivated him to have confidence and to excel at what he wants to do. This school truly changed Martin’s life for the better. My wife’s and my only regret was not signing our son up at this school sooner."

"Quest offered a wonderful birthday party for our son. They handled the invitations and RSVPs. The kids had a ball playing samurai tag, working on martial arts skills, and running an obstacle course. All of the activities were orderly and the kids behaved well, so everyone had fun. We appreciated the structure that Quest offered, because we did not have to plan a thing. We look forward to receiving our group photo as a special remembrance of an amazing birthday party!"

"May I also take this opportunity to say how good your program is. I know that [my daughters and sons] thoroughly enjoy the program and I find watching them equally enjoyable. Equally the mental goals (for want of a better term - concepts like focus and discipline etc) are extremely useful and compliment - I hope - our approach at home. There is a definite sense of 'family' - stronger than a 'team' - yet without being too intrusive. I should say that the excellence of your program is, in my opinion, entirely down to all the instructors. I have been teaching in university environments for years and I speak a small amount of knowledge perhaps; the instructors' enthusiasm, knowledge and ability to teach are exemplary.
I have been saying for some time that I should take part myself. But when I see Rosie do her rolls, with what seems to me a good technique, and then I try to practice with her at home, I realize my limitations!
Thank you, I L"

I think martial arts has given [my son] confidence. He has come out of his shell a bit and isn’t as afraid to try new things. He is always excited about coming to class. He even says “yes, sir” and “yes, ma’am” at home now!

"About 7 weeks after bringing my two children, they were 7 and 5 years old at the time, to the Quest Martial Arts first “Steal-Proof Master” seminar, we had stopped at a McDonald’s off a highway exit for lunch. The kids picked a table near the video game consoles after we had gotten our food. My daughter, the 7 year old, was done first and went to play the games. If I leaned over really far, I could touch her.
I saw a man come in, walk to the counter and then come back to the video games. (Well, the line was pretty long.) He starts playing a game. My daughter apparently gets stuck on something in the game and vocalizes frustration and he offers assistance. She immediately took a step away from him and says politely, “No, thank you.” The man continues to play his game, my daughter looks at me, I nod and she plays again. Again, she gets stuck, again he offers, and she says, “You don’t know me; you shouldn’t be offering little kids you don’t know help with games.” She came right over and sat down with me.
The man left the building without ever ordering anything to eat, without ever going to use the restroom, or ever speaking to anyone else in the restaurant.
We, as a family, had talked about stranger safety immediately after the seminar. And we had been touching on it as teaching moments came up; we didn’t want to scare our kids. But 7 weeks after the seminar, I watched it transpire in front of my eyes, within touching distance. If we hadn’t had that seminar, I might have gone and gotten napkins, and my daughter could’ve been gone and on a highway interchange. That seminar was not only for the kids, it was for me. I learned to watch and listen too!
As Keith Copeland said, “If this seminar prevents just one AMBER Alert, it’s working.” I feel it already has."

"Several months ago my son was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome, on the high-functioning end of the Autism Spectrum, as well as ADHD and PTSD. He started 1st grade last year and had a great amount of difficulty staying focused and had trouble with his behavior, which kept him out of the classroom more often than in.
We came to Quest in February of 2008 and also transferred to a special education class at school. The instructors at Quest have been so helpful and understanding. It’s been great having positive male role-models in my son’s life. Things have progressively gotten better throughout the summer, and when school started this year I was anxious to see how things would go.
Notes from school indicated my son was doing very well and had improved in all areas he struggled with the year before. What’s more, he was named Student of the Month for his class. I believe his training at Quest played a huge part in my son’s success at school and at home. There are no words that can express my gratitude."

"My 10 year-old son has been studying at Quest for just over a year now and I feel that the Quest staff is supportive, caring and committed not only to its students, but their families. I have been consistently impressed by this positive attitude and their ongoing commitment to their students. I feel they create a strong sense of community by talking to parents (or other family members) about our child’s/children’s progress; however, they take that a step further by taking the time to come over, shake our hands and get to know us on a personal level.
I have seen a positive change in my son’s attitude since he’s been taking classes at Quest; he is motivated and looks forward to going to class each week and working towards achieving his personal goals. He truly feels that the teachers at Quest care about him, which in itself is a motivator for him. Quest staff “walks the walk!”
My son and I have had several occasions to recommend Quest to individuals who have questioned him about Quest and we will continue to recommend Quest whenever possible. I am thankful for, and grateful to, the staff at Quest and look forward to my son’s continued success there."

“I have talked to numerous friends, family members and colleagues about my fitness, weight loss and positive mental attitude, and how my participation at [Quest] can be credited for a large part of it."

"Quest has improved the way my children act at home and at school. They are respectful to everyone. They now stay focused and on task. Their confidence and everything is great. They are more self-disciplined. The instructors are very good and encouraging. They make learning fun. My kids just love it at Quest and so do I. And the birthday parties are a blast."
